Load and Inflation Tables for RV Tires

How to Use the RV Tire Load and Inflation Tables
 

  1. Locate your tire size (16", 17", etc.).
  2. Select your tire size below to jump to the corresponding load and inflation tables.
  3. Match the markings on your tire's sidewall to the table with the same tire size and markings (LT215/85R16 LRE XPS RIB, for example).


If your RV tire's sidewall markings do not match any table listed, contact your Michelin dealer for the applicable load and inflation information. Motorhome industry load and inflation standards can change, and Michelin continually updates its product information to reflect current standards. Printed materials may not reflect the latest load and inflation information.

Load and Inflation Table Terminology

  • Single means an axle with one tire mounted on each end.
  • Dual means an axle with two tires mounted on each end.
  • Load values represent the total weight supported at each axle end in an RV application.

How to Determine RV Tire Pressure

Michelin load and inflation tables display tire loads by axle end. To determine the appropriate cold tire inflation pressure, weigh each axle end separately and use the weight of the heaviest end to determine the pressure for all tires on that axle.

For proper vehicle control, maintain the same tire pressure across each axle. Never exceed the maximum air pressure limit stamped on the wheels.
