Michelin REGENION technology - Evolving tread designs

Michelin-patented REGENION technology, enabled by 3D metal printing techniques, provides solid grip over the tire’s lifetime, in all conditions. As the tire wears, new grooves emerge. The more compact and rigid tread pattern provides higher mileage, more consistent wear and lower fuel consumption.

Dual compounding technology - Dual compounds for double benefits

The tire's tread combines two layers for double the benefits: the top layer boosts wear and grip while the bottom layer helps control temperature and reduces rolling resistance for better efficiency.

Matrix siping technology - To improve wet and snow traction

For improved wet and snow traction, sipes provide hundreds of biting edges. The sipes lock together when in contact with the road, adding strength and improving wear for longer-lasting performance.

Michelin INFINI-COIL technology - Casing reinforcement for greater stability

A continuous steel wire up to 1/4 of a mile long is wrapped around the tire to enhance its stability over its lifespan. The tire's increased durability at higher load capacities or under more demanding conditions results in enhanced fuel efficiency and greater casing mileage potential.

A new generation of high-strength steel cables infused with rubber enhance casing endurance and casing mileage potential, while reducing rolling resistance. The unique way in which we apply rubber to our cables significantly extends their life by shielding them from air, water, and friction.

Michelin DURACOIL technology - A reinforced bead for greater robustness

To enhance durability, this technology introduces a reinforced zone between the tire and the wheel. Our premium nylon material protects the bead structure, enhancing bead stability during driving and maximizing the potential mileage of the casing.
